At the upcoming iPBS show, Coperion is excited to showcase the integration of cutting-edge Electronic Pressure Compensation (EPC) and the innovative ActiFlow Bulk Solids Activator into our MechaTron feeder product line. These advancements will significantly enhance the accuracy and reliability of bulk material feeding, ensuring optimal performance in various applications.

Feeder Control Technology Improves Feeding Accuracy

Coming Soon: We are thrilled to announce that our state-of-the-art KCM-III feeder controller will soon be available, seamlessly harmonizing with all feeder lines. The redesigned KCM-III boasts a range of advanced features, including a larger 5-inch LCD screen with an enhanced user interface, context-sensitive help, and a robust stainless steel enclosure.

With built-in Ethernet and Wi-Fi capabilities, the KCM-III is prepared for Internet 4.0 functions such as predictive maintenance, electronic service options, outlier detection, machine optimization, and much more.

Additionally, the KCM-III is equipped with a powerful CPU and extended memory, allowing for the storage of more log and event files, as well as trace and process data. Its all-new control algorithms facilitate faster communication with the feeder drive, weighing system, and auxiliary equipment, resulting in more precise control of the entire system. This integration, combined with the latest weighing technology, ensures higher short-term accuracy as the controller quickly adapts to changes in the system.

T35/S60 Quick Change Feeder with ActiFlow and KCM-III

The Coperion K-Tron T35/S60 Quick Change Feeder is designed for applications requiring efficient cleaning and optimal material handling and changeover flexibility. This unit is available in both volumetric and loss-in-weight configurations. The single screw feeding elements effectively manage free-flowing powders, granules, and pellets, while the twin screw elements are suited for handling floodable powders and challenging materials that are sticky or difficult to flow.

This display will also showcase ActiFlow and KCM-III controls, which will soon be offered with MechaTron feeders.
