Guiding the Future of Recycling

We are pleased to introduce our new Managing Director Recycling, Stefan Lachenmayer. Stefan brings extensive experience in the plastics and recycling industry. He has been with Coperion since 2007, most recently as Director of Sales - Aftermarket Performance Material. Stefan has a clear vision for the future of recycling at Coperion and Herbold Meckesheim. Through innovative technologies and efficient process solutions, the recycling of plastics is to be maximized, thus making a significant contribution to reducing waste and conserving resources.

Looking back with pride and satisfaction on the successful K 2025 trade show, Stefan reflects on the impressive progress we have already made in plastics recycling. “K show was an outstanding event for us. It was a great opportunity to present our innovative solutions to a wide audience,” says Stefan Lachenmayer.

Particularly noteworthy is the close cooperation between Coperion and Herbold Meckesheim. “It's impressive to see how closely we have grown together. We offer our customers solutions from a single source that are not only efficient but also offer recyclers clear added value along the entire value chain. Our partnership allows us to proactively address the challenges facing the industry and develop innovative approaches,” explains Stefan Lachenmayer.

As the new Managing Director, Stefan is particularly proud of his team. “I have the privilege of leading a dedicated and talented team that is passionate about recycling. Together, we will set the course for a successful future and further strengthen our position as leading providers of recycling technologies,” he emphasizes.
