The three sizes of Prorate PLUS single screw feeders (PLUS-S, PLUS-M, PLUS-L) are designed for feeding free-flowing bulk materials. These feeders have a streamlined design, optimized for reliable performance without unnecessary, expensive extras. For handling more challenging materials, a twin screw feeder (PLUS-MT) is available. This feeder, with its horizontal agitator, ensures optimal filling of the screws. The twin screw technology also minimizes pulsations and has a self-cleaning effect.
All feeders are individually mounted in robust frames and can be installed separately or combined into a compact cluster without needing an additional structure. They are designed for easy access to the feeding section, even when installed in a cluster. Most models are mounted on a single load cell, while the largest size is mounted on two. The feeding section of all four units can be easily retracted and swiveled out for maintenance or cleaning without disrupting the rest of the setup. The advanced digital load cells ensure reliable feeding performance, keeping your mixture on spec even in challenging conditions.
Depending on the feeder model, screw configuration, and bulk material, feed rates from 3.3 to 4800 dm3/h [0.12 to 169.5 ft3/h] can be achieved. Each feeder comes with an individual ProRate PCM control module, with the capability to connect up to eight feeders to one main control device that includes integrated support for single loaders.
