Coperion Executive Board

Ulrich Bartel, President Coperion

Ulrich Bartel joined Coperion in 1990 as an engineer in the process department. He holds a degree in process technology from Technical University Braunschweig, Germany. Mr. Bartel served 12 years at Coperion locations in Japan, China, Singapore and the USA, where he held several leading positions. In 2021 he was appointed President Coperion. Based in Stuttgart, Germany, he is a member of the Executive Board of Coperion since 2014.

Alby Schenk, Chief Financial Officer

Alby Schenk joined Hillenbrand in 2011 as Manager of Internal Audit and has held several management positions within Hillenbrand and Coperion since joining the Company. He served most recently as Vice President of FP&A before being named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Coperion in 2023. In this role, he has responsibility for finance and accounting. Alby began his career in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ assurance practice. He received a BS in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Markus Parzer, President Performance Materials Division

Markus Parzer joined Coperion in 1992. After his apprenticeship as an industrial mechanical he worked as an extruder assembly operator before he studied industrial engineering at the University of Applied Science in Esslingen, Germany. Mr. Parzer served ten years in several leading positions at our production plant in Stuttgart before he took over the responsibility for Order Management in 2014. Since 2015 he has been leading the Extrusion Systems Business Unit and since 2020 the Business Unit Polyolefins. Based in Stuttgart, Germany, Mr. Parzer is President Performance Materials Division and a member of the Executive Board of Coperion since 2021.

Coperion Matt Craig

Matt Craig, President Division Food, Health & Nutrition

Matt Craig serves as the President of the Food, Health & Nutrition Division, overseeing a portfolio of brands including Baker Perkins, Bakon, Diosna, Kemutec, Mucon, Peerless Food Equipment, Raymond Bartlett Snow, Shaffer, Shick Esteve, Stock, VMI, and Unifiller. Before his current role, he held various sales and management positions within the organization, with his most recent position being the General Manager of the Food & Performance Materials Business Unit. Matt holds a BS in Milling Science & Management and a Master of Agribusiness from Kansas State University. He is based in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, and has been a Member of the Executive Board of Coperion since 2024.

Stefan Rottke, President Aftermarket Sales & Service Division

Stefan Rottke is President of the Aftermarket Sales & Service Division, providing aftermarket services for Coperion's plants and equipment in the various markets. He recently served as Coperion's CFO before leading the Service Division. Stefan joined Coperion in January 2016 from ITT Corporation where he was global CFO and managing Director of  ITT Bornemann Germany. Mr. Rottke spent the vast majority of his career at Royal Philips Electronics where he held several lead finance position in Germany, Singapore, Canada and in the USA. In his last position at Philips in the US he was CFO of the global Computed Tomography and Nuclear Medicine Business. Based in Stuttgart, Germany, he is a member of the Executive Board since 2016.

Tove Lunde, Vice President HR

Tove Lunde joined Coperion in 2024 as the VP HR for Coperion and Hillenbrand’s APS segment. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Oslo/Universidad Autonoma, Madrid. Before joining the company, she spent 5 years with Rolls-Royce, most recently as VP Global HR at Rolls-Royce Power Systems based in Germany. Prior to this, she held HR leadership roles within different industries and also worked as an international business consultant. Based in Stuttgart, Germany she is a member of the Executive Board of Coperion since 2024.

Dr. Klaus Beulker, Vice President Global Operations

Dr. Klaus Beulker joined Coperion in 2020 as Vice President of Global Operations. He completed an apprenticeship as a toolmaker and studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University. After graduating, Dr. Klaus Beulker achieved his doctorate at the WZL of RWTH Aachen University. He has many years of experience in various functions and in leading positions at industrial companies in Germany and the USA. Based in Stuttgart, Germany, he is a member of the Executive Board since 2020.
