Are your Valves Dairy Powder Intolerant? Innovations in Cleanable and Accessible Rotary and Diverter Valves
In today's fast paced manufacturing environments, cleanability and ease of product changeover are important concerns. Proper equipment and system designs which address these issues can greatly improve overall equipment and process efficiency. Until recently, many traditional component designs did not address these concerns. For example, diverter vlaves in conveying lines have often presented cleanability issues due to their difficult access points in the overall pneumatic lines. In addition, rotary valves, specifically those which are handling difficult flowing materials such as dairy powders can present many cleaning and saniation challenges.
