Polyolefin manufacturers from all over the world are demanding ever increasing throughput rates for conveying systems and components such as discharge valves. We have developed the new ZAQ 700 precisely for this purpose. Thanks to its very high reliability and high-rate performance, it is designed in particular for polyolefin manufacturing systems with very high throughputs.
We successfully launched the ZXQ 800 high-performance blow-through rotary valve back in 2022. The new ZAQ 700 is now the perfect addition to the product line. This discharge valve is also suitable for operation in pneumatic conveying systems with pressures of up to 3.5 bar and is designed for particularly high throughputs of up to 150 t/h, depending on the particle size, bulk density and conveying pressure.
We have equipped its single-walled housing with a particularly resistant aluminum hard coating (AC) for this purpose. The newly developed purge gas seal has also been implemented in this high-pressure rotary valve. This reduces purge gas consumption by up to 70% for unheated valves and by up to 90% for heated valves.
